Moisture content is a critical property of seasoned timber.

We can usually provide timber with an average moisture content of +/- one percent. This will ensure minimal movement in a given environment.

If required solar kilns are used to achieve small adjustments to moisture content. It is difficult for us to supply moisture content of less than 10 percent as this is well below east coast equilibrium.



A variety of class 1 and class 2 materials are available for external use. Internally, durability is not really an issue unless termite attack is possible.



Appearance can vary according to the previous use of the timber and its condition before processing. Appearance can range from an aged condition with fine surface checking, nail and borer holes through to a clean, fresh, as new look.

We are also able to vary the surface finish. Available finishes include grey, wire brushed, sawn and dressed. Simply let us know your preference when you place your order.



Typically, we are requested to supply timbers with strength ratings from F17 to F27. We are able to supply strength ratings from F14 through to F34 and higher, if required.

We can also provide advice about the best species to use to obtain your required strength and stiffness.






We courier timber samples to almost anywhere in the world. If you would like to see exactly what a particular species or profile looks like, just call us and we'll arrange for a sample to be sent to you.



We ship our products all over the world. For local customers we have our own crane truck which services the eastern seaboard. We deliver to site or your alternative nominated address.
